All our work is fully tested according to industry standard practices and procedures and include as required-

(OTDR) Optical time domain reflectometer testing (splice loss, bi-directional end to end loss)

Test results and splice loss recordings are stored electronically and delivered in number of electronic formats
including PDF format.

Note: it is imperative that test results are obtained on newly installed fibre cabling from the cabling contractor.
Do NOT leave the most critical link in your network infrastructure to chance!
The tests should be preferably witnessed.

CSI have on a number of occasions been contracted to re-test newly installed fibre backbone and campus cabling because the performance of the Network was impeded by incorrectly terminated fibre connectors. On all three occasions the cabling contractors had ‘influenced’ the test results in their favour.
